HT Digital Expands to Malta in Partnership with Tri-Mer Services

HT Digital Ltd, one of the leading professional services providers in the digital asset space, has officially launched its operations in Malta.

Carved out of Harris & Trotter in London in 2023, HT Digital has quickly established itself as a specialist team dedicated to all things Web3. Today, the firm boasts a team of over 90 professionals servicing nearly 700 digital asset clients worldwide. Its expansion into Malta marks an important milestone in its global growth strategy.
Commenting on the decision, CEO Nicholas Newman highlighted the strategic role Malta is playing in the digital asset sector:

With Malta positioning itself as a European jurisdiction of choice for many digital asset firms, especially in view of the new MiCA regulatory framework, expanding into Malta was an obvious choice.

The Maltese operations, branded HT Digital Europe, will be led by Ian Mercieca and Marco Mercieca. Both bring a wealth of experience through their leadership at Tri-Mer Services Ltd and strong international ties via BKR International. Over the past years, Tri-Mer and HT Digital have collaborated on numerous projects, building a strong foundation of trust, expertise, and shared values.
