Tax Compliance Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing client’s tax computations;
- Preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns;
- Preparation and submission of Corporate Tax Refund Claim Forms;
- Preparation and submission of Shareholders’ Registration Forms;
- Assisting clients in ensuring all tax compliance obligations are adhered to by the stipulated statutory deadline;
- Assisting clients with any tax certificates requests; and
- Assisting in any way the Head of Corporate Tax with any other tax compliance service
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
- Ideal candidates would be in possession of a Master in Accountancy / Bachelor’s degree with Honours or currently in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent. Other qualifications will be considered.
- Any qualification in tax shall be considered an asset.
- At least 1 year relevant experience.
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of the Maltese tax law.
- Willing to learn and develop professionally within the firm.
- Good IT, written and verbal communication skills.
