DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing client’s tax computations;
• Preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns;
• Preparation and submission of Corporate Tax Refund Claim Forms;
• Preparation and submission of Shareholders’ Registration Forms;
• Assisting clients in ensuring all tax compliance obligations are adhered to by the stipulated statutory deadline;
• Assisting clients with any tax certificates requests; and
• Assisting in any way the Head of Corporate Tax with any other tax compliance service

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• Ideal candidates would be in possession of a Master in Accountancy / Bachelor’s degree with Honours or currently in the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent. Other qualifications will be considered.
• Any qualification in tax shall be considered an asset.
• At least 1 year relevant experience.
• Have a good understanding and knowledge of the Maltese tax law.
• Willing to learn and develop professionally within the firm.
• Good IT, written and verbal communication skills.
