

SME Fund 2025 – Support for Trademark Protection
The SME Fund 2025, co-funded by the European Commission and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), provides targeted financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to protect their brand through trademark registration. This initiative presents a cost-effective opportunity to safeguard your business identity and strengthen your market presence.
Eligible SMEs may benefit from reimbursement of up to 75% of official trademark application fees, capped at €700 per application. This support applies to trademarks filed with:
- National IP offices across EU Member States
- The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)
Application Process
All submissions are managed through Tri Mer Services Ltd.:
- Voucher application:
We submit your funding‐voucher application to EUIPO on your behalf. Approval typically takes up to one month. - Trademark registration:
Once your voucher is approved, we file the trademark application with the relevant IP office. - Reimbursement claim:
After you’ve paid the official fee, we lodge the reimbursement request under the SME Fund. Refunds are usually approved within one month.
The application period runs until 6 December 2025, or until the allocated budget is fully absorbed.
